Trojan Stadium!

Last week, our Falcon Ridge students were able to take advantage of the newly renovated Trojan Stadium during their scheduled physical education classes. Mrs. Herrmann and Mr. Wagner led students through different running exercises on the track, and played soccer and football on the new field surface. We are looking forward to taking advantage of this great resource right in our 'backyard' for years to come!

Community Readers

For the fourth consecutive year, we are excited to welcome employees from the State Bank of New Prague, and members of the New Prague Rotary, who will be joining our 4th grade classes to read to/with our students. In doing so, they are emphasizing the importance of being a life-long learner (reader). Thank you to the State Bank and the Rotarians for your support of our students here at Falcon Ridge!

Shawn Brandt to speak at Falcon Ridge-November 13

We are excited to announce that Shawn Brandt-Director of Technology Integration-will be joining us for our next PAC meeting, beginning at 6:00 P.M. on November 13. The topic for his presentation will be "Parents and Social Media", with a specific focus on the challenges of parenting in the digital age that we are living in. He will be sharing strategies that will help you to be more in touch with some of the devices and forms of social media that may be difficult for the average parent to keep up with. There is no cost-all parents are welcome!

ECFE Halloween Fun Night

Fire Prevention Week

We are recognizing Fire Prevention Week at Falcon Ridge, and had the New Prague Fire Department in our building to assist in an evacuation drill this past Monday. Additionally, our 2nd graders were fortunate enough to hear from our own Mr. Wagner-a member of the New Prague Fire Department himself-on some safety tips and a thorough demonstration of the gear that our firefighters need to wear when responding to a call. We are lucky to have someone as dedicated not only to their students, but also to the safety of the community right here within our building. Thank you Mr. Wagner!

Trojan Homecoming!

We wrapped up a great Homecoming week today, with an afternoon parade and our varsity football players joining our students to play Math Mania. A great time was had by all!
