Congratulations to all 82 Elementary Scientists who
presented their projects on Saturday March 7th at New Prague Middle
School. A variety of topics were researched and tested using the
scientific method or the engineering model. Judging took place in shifts with National Honor Society
and community members taking on the tough task of judging these quality projects.
Each student spent time with three judges.
Following judging, an award ceremony
was held in the auditorium where middle and high school science fair
participants presented prizes from projects they judged for Special Awards, a
random drawing was held for all participants and prizes were awarded for the
scavenger hunt participants. The
following students were awarded purple ribbons and have the chance to represent
New Prague Schools in regional competition in Mankato on Saturday April 25:
Anthony Longton, Adam Pankow, Ian Degross, Lucy Helgestad, Ava Rivard,
Nora Rosemeier, Annie Glomski, Alexis Rueger, Matthew Ryburn, Bailey Newman,
